The Iceland Job!
The Hodgkinson team isn’t normally phased when it comes to travelling considerable distances to tackle demanding contracts - but one recent request really made the team sit up.
It was asked to fly to Iceland to undertake extensive alterations and construct a unique brickwork display area in the factory of Henson International, makers of exclusive sports training kits and whose customers include the legendary Pele, England and Aston Villa.
Despite the cold and the distance, the project was completed on time.
Hodgkinson’s was chosen for the job because of its reputation for providing a quality and cost-effective building service.
Managing director Ian commented: “We’ve worked in some demanding locations but this one certainly takes the prize for distance travelled. We’re delighted that our name now means something in that part of the world as well as in the UK”
